Advanced Practice Palliative Nursing is the first text devoted to advanced practice nursing care of the seriously ill and dying. This comprehensive work addresses all aspects of palliative care including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Constance Dahlin is the Director of Professional Practices at the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association; a Palliative Care Consultant at the Center to Advance Palliative Care in New York, New York; and a Nurse Practitioner at the Palliative Care Service, North Shore Medical Center. Patrick J. Coyne, MSN, ACHPN, ACNS-BC, FAAN, FPCN, is the Director of Palliative Care at the Medical University of South Carolina. Betty R. Ferrell is a Professor and Director of Nursing Research and Education in the Department of Population Sciences, at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, California.
