Polymer nanoparticles are an important class of polymeric materials that are required for a number of commercial applications. It then details the synthesis and surface modification of various types of polymer nanoparticles, including polymers with core-shell morphologies; dendrimers modified polymer nanoparticles; and porous and hollow polymer nanoparticles.
