About the author

Abdul Aziz, M.Pd. is a dedicated educator and researcher with a passion for developing culturally responsive and evidence-based educational approaches. He completed his undergraduate studies in English Language Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in 2011, and later earned his Master’s degree in Educational Policy and Development from the same university in 2014. His academic trajectory highlights a strong commitment to connecting research with real-world educational practice, especially within the Indonesian school system.

Throughout his career, Abdul Aziz has played key roles in various impactful research initiatives. In 2020, he designed a character education model rooted in the local values of the Dayak Ngaju language, which was successfully piloted in elementary schools in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. In parallel, he conducted a spatial analysis to map economic growth poles and hinterland areas across Central Kalimantan, contributing valuable insights to regional planning efforts.

His 2021 research shifted focus to bilingual education in rural schools, where he utilized Wordwall media to support English language learning at SMPN Satap 3 Hanau in Desa Paring Raya. These hands-on projects have been complemented by publications in peer-reviewed academic journals. Among his latest works are a 2023 article on applying K-Means clustering to analyze provincial labor data, and a co-authored paper examining personalized learning strategies for students with special needs in Indonesia.

In addition to his research, Abdul Aziz is recognized for his innovations in educational technology and curriculum design. He has developed decision-making tools for educators, integrated e-learning platforms into English instruction, and advocated for character education that incorporates local languages and cultural heritage. His work reflects a harmonious blend of scholarly rigor and practical impact, aimed at creating a more inclusive, adaptive, and context-sensitive education system across Indonesia.
