Luis A. Vivanco is Professor of Anthropology in the College of Arts and Science at the University of Vermont. He has a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Princeton University and has authored a number of books including the OUP US textbook Cultural Anthropology: Asking Questions About Humanity (with Robert L. Welsch, Oxford University Press), Anthropology: Asking Questions About Human Origins, Diversity, and Culture (with Robert L. Welsch and Agustín Fuentes), Field Notes: A Guided Journal for Doing Anthropology (Oxford University Press), Reconsidering the Bicycle: An Anthropological Perspective on a New (Old) Thing (Routledge), as well as numerous journal articles and book chapters .
