What a pleasure Yahrah St. John's Break Point is! This is the sixth book in their Six Gems series - each of the six friends gets their own novel - and I read this as a standalone. I had no trouble enjoying it completely, though now I'm dying to go back and find out about each of the ladies in this friend group! The tennis scenes are well written, and the atmosphere St. John creates around both the tennis community and the country club are just right.

Teagan hasn’t seen her ex, pro tennis player Dominic, since an injury forced her to give up her own career ten years ago. When they reunite at a charity tournament, their chemistry rekindles both on and off the court. Teagan and Dominic are both likeable characters with difficult parents. Their bad breakup left them both resentful, but they’re forced to come to terms with their own responsibility. I liked the audiobook narration. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received.
