Late one night Alice Creighton hears her father having an argument with a fairy – a snarling, bald beast with warts and needle-like teeth.

His latest is the fantasy comedy How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying. In his former life as a software engineer, he worked on AI research and programming languages.
