Robyn Ayres works as the camp caretaker on Finch Island, a former leper colony off the coast of Queensland. Bruising classroom dynamics, manipulative parents and carers and horrendous small-town politics form the backdrop to a nail-biting thriller in which the tensions of ten years ago start to play themselves out, building to a violent climax in the present day. Robyn escaped the past once. Now it’s back – and this time there’s no way out.

Catherine Jinks is the Australian author of many award-winning and internationally recognised books for adults, young adults and kids, written in a wide range of genres. Her body of writing encompasses more than 30 titles and she has garnered many awards, including the CBCA Book of the Year Award, the Aurealis Award for Science Fiction and the Davitt Award for Crime Fiction. She has been writing books since she was eight years old – and doesn't expect to stop writing them anytime soon.

Abbe is one of Australia's most recognised mainstream voice actors, known for her versatility and character ability. She’s been a voiceover technique coach and demo producer for over 15 years, teaching the mastery of voiceover for both commercial and non-commercial work, character voices and audiobook narration. Abbe’s a proud member of the Equity Section of the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) where she has a position on the MEAA board. She has also worked on screen, producing and performing in two short films.
