The emotional weight of the story came through as each sibling was tasked with completing something from their father’s will, and I found it fascinating to watch the layers of each character slowly peel back. There was a lot of heart here, and the romance added just the right amount of warmth without overshadowing the family dynamics. I listened to the audiobook, and Julia Whelan’s narration was, as always, incredible.
