Time travel’s not a new premise, but this book takes it to new heights. An OTR trucker, his family, and his rig are transported to the past, along with part of the convenience store they were at and a woman with her two young children. They have practical, survival skills, and Alyssa Jefferson is a chemist; useful one thousand years in the past with locals unsure about whether to befriend or kill them. This is the first book I have read in this series, but it won’t be the last. I loved it!
