About the author

Paul Finch is an ex-cop and journalist turned bestselling author. He first cut his literary teeth penning episodes of The Bill, and has written extensively in horror and fantasy, including for Dr Who. He is also known for his crime/thriller novels, of which there are 12 to date, including the Heckenburg and Clayburn series. Paul lives in Lancashire with his wife and business-partner, Cathy.

Tom Alexander is a UK voice actor who has worked across audio drama, animation, games, audiobooks and more. He has performed in several award winning productions, including The Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Hexagonal Phase, Good Omens and the multi-award-winning Sandman for Audible. In 2022, Tom won an award for best narrator at the Audio Production Awards for Real Pigeons Fight Crime by Andrew McDonald.
