Jean Fullerton is the British author of 11 historical novels, nearly all set in the East End of London where she was born and spent most of her working life. She is a qualified District and Queen's nurse who worked first as a Sister in charge of a team, and then as a District Nurse tutor. She is also a qualified teacher and spent twelve years lecturing on community nursing studies at a London university. She now writes full-time.
Julia Winwood is a British actress and narrator. She received a Diploma in Professional Acting from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London. Julia has worked extensively in theatre, notably playing the lead role in Martha Reed’s Vera Jones (Chippy Lane Productions, 2019). She has performed numerous voice roles for BBC Radio 4. Her film credits include many indie films, the likes of Cold Blow Lane (Swamp Light Productions, 2017).
