Supplying weapons and training members of a powerful underground fighting force, organising Allied parachute drops, cycling four hundred kilometres across a mountain range to find a new transmitting radio - nothing seemed too difficult in her fight against the Nazis. Peter FitzSimons is one of the Sydney Morning Herald's and Sun Herald's most popular columnists. He broadcasts daily on Radio 2UE and is a regular contributor to the International Herald Tribune and the London Daily Telegraph. He is the author of seventeen books, including biographies of Nancy Wake, Nene King, John Eales, Steve Waugh and Charles Kingsford Smith. Peter lives with his family in Sydney.

Stephanie Daniel spent several years acting in theatre, television and film in the UK and Europe and dubbing films into English in Munich, Paris and Rome. In Australia she has recorded countless audiobooks. Her television appearances include Mercury and Something in The Air. Films Stephanie has appeared in include The Castle and in the theatre in her acclaimed portrait of Jane Austen.
