Even though they'd never dated, Lily Shaw always assumed she'd eventually end up with Ben, the boy who's been her bestie since they were toddlers. So she's shocked to learn he's getting married—and having a child with his fiancée. Shocked . . . but not terribly upset. Lily, however, is a typical Shaw—stubborn as the day is long. Getting into Maverick's bed is the easy part; getting into his heart is the real challenge. But maybe if he feels loved enough, he'll be willing to give them a chance.
