I was skeptical at first - another diet book, right? But the Alkaline Diet for Beginners actually offers something a bit different. It’s not preachy, just gives you the facts and benefits of alkaline eating. The top 10 foods and herbal medicine section was a highlight for me - straightforward and informative. I’m not looking for a quick fix, but a sustainable way to improve my health and maybe shed a few pounds. This book is a decent starting point for understanding pH and how food impacts it.

I was curious about the alkaline diet but didn’t know where to start, so I gave this book a shot. It’s pretty informative, breaking down the science without getting too complex. I’m not all in yet, but I’ve started integrating some of the top 10 alkaline foods into my diet, and it’s been an interesting experience. It’s not a rapid weight loss promise, but more about understanding your body’s pH and making informed food choices. Still exploring, but it’s been a decent introduction so far.
