Also a screenwriter and novelist, Boatman's books include a collection of short stories, God Laughs When You Die and the humours horror novel The Revenant Road. He has narrated many audiobooks, including Nelson Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom and Walter Mosley's Easy Rawlins series.
