Though there is a lot of research presented in this book, it is in simple language and is easy to follow, with enough humour thrown in to keep things light. However, as there is a lot of research presented in this book 🙂, some of which build on what was previously presented, I had to read it twice to get a sense of everything, making notes after chapters so that I don’t forget. This book shows us that a lot of what we know about how to learn is not entirely true. On the other hand, many things which we think are detrimental to learning may actually help learning. While this book tells us a lot how our brain learns, it doesn’t give us any rigid schedule to follow on how to improve learning. How we use what is presented in this book is up to us. An insightful read.
