One type of character which contains many evil traits and has been the subject of many verses of the Holy Quran and the Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is hypocrisy. It is a deep and disastrous spiritual disease which can affect a person in such a subtle way that they may live their entire life without being aware of how much it has taken over their spiritual heart.
