-------------------------------------------------

MITSUBISHI Remote Control allows you to customize your ECLIPSE CROSS PHEV model experience from your Android phone.

When you connect to your PHEV’s wireless LAN, you can:
- Charge your vehicle on a timer or on demand
- Heat or cool your car before your drive
- Set timers to ensure your PHEV charges completely and avoid peak rate hours
- Turn on your headlights or parking lights to help locate your vehicle
- Check your vehicle status

The MITSUBISHI Remote Control lets you view all vehicle settings in an intuitive dashboard. Manage timer settings for charging and climate control, monitor battery status and performance, and set customized weekly schedules to reflect your lifestyle, directly from your connected device.

Please note: Your ECLIPSE CROSS PHEV model communicates with this app exclusively via Wireless LAN, not by cellular technology. Wireless LAN communication can be hindered by distance, radio waves, or physical barriers.

You have to be maybe 2 meters away from the car (not an exagerration) to get it to connect. The remote wifi takes a while to start up, and connecting takes about a minute or two. At this point, it's better to just enter the car. I guess it works fine if you just set up schedules, but it doesn't work for me as I have varying schedules.

Very disappointing. You buy a nice car and everything is great. Then the whole experience is destroyed by the app being completely unusable. You guys need to put some effort into this. The registration just isn't working. It once connected, but later on, nothing. Is there a reason why the car wifi hotspot cannot be controlled without the app?

Disappointment. That summarises it all. Literally have to stay next to the vehicle for it to connect, which defeats the whole purpose of the remote control. Even then, it won't stay connected and drops the connection all the time. It runs its own wifi point to which you have to connect. Would be much better if it would allow to connect to the existing wifi, extending the range. Functions are very basic.

The Timer Charge/Climate Cancel Switch has been deleted from the home screen.
- After updating the app, if you want to turn schedules ON/OFF, set them on the Timer schedule screen.
- If you update the app when the Timer climate is canceled, the timer will automatically turn ON once the app communicates with the vehicle.
- If you want to charge immediately when the Timer charging is enabled, use the side switch of the keyless operation key. Refer to the owner's manual.
