this is what I did to make it work. For reference, I have the 2022 mitsubishi outlander sport se. I went to NAV and selected main menu (3 dots on the bottom left). I went to the second page of the main menu and selected settings. From there look for "System", select and open the "Your Information & Privacy" section. Click the button so it's blue/enabled. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and go back to the TomTom app. Once you're in the app, turn Bluetooth back on. Hopefully this helps!

Completely useless. Does not connect to nav device. Just keeps displaying the try again button. The phone works fine for calls etc so it is correctly connected, it's just this one app that doesn't work. And yes, this is the app that is correct for my car.

Wasted so much time. But got it working. Car Eclipse Cross. On car display go to Navigation. Next press Main menu, scroll to Configuration "gear wheel ", press System, press "Your information..." and enable "Use my location....". Hope this helps
