The only thing you need besides your passport. The NS International app is new and improved! Thanks to your feedback we were able to add some amazing new features, such as our “MyNS” environment. This is a safe and personal environment for our customers who regularly book international train trips.

Our real time travel information assists you every step of the way. Easily enable automatic alerts on your trip. We will keep you informed in case of possible disruptions and when it is time to leave. When travelling with a mobile ticket in the app, the automatic alerts are enabled by default.

Planning and booking a trip is now even easier. Not only will you see the familiar overview of travel advices. We now also show you an overview of the available low fares in our fare calendar.

For booking your trip and paying, this app is fine it does what it is supposed to, however, why if it claims to be international does not one of the tickets actually scan outside of the country. It's like a scam. As soon as I'm out of the Netherlands, the tickets don't scan for the conductors, even just next door in Germany. This has led to embarrassment, additional costs, and on one occasion, having to get off the train and get tickets and missing a connection.

OK, it is nice to have your ticket and travel details available, but unfortunately the seat reservation info is missing. Also I get no clue under what FLEX-conditions I made this reservation: thus, it is unclear what options I have for changing or canceling the journey. Too bad, because the FLEX-conditions are also missing in the confirmation mail, I had to call and ask what conditions were applicable.

Would be great if booking in all of Europe would be possible. Other than that, the planner looks good except for the date and time selection menu which is much better in the regular ns planner app. Edit: it's frustrating that the best price for a day is incorrect. You would see a price of say 40 euros on a given day, but when you select that day then the cheapest option will be something like 100 euros, please fix this.
