Wendell Potter is a Senior Fellow on Health Care for the Center for Media and Democracy and comments regularly on health care issues for MSNBC, The Huffington Post, and other media outlets. He is the author of Deadly Spin: An Insurance Company Insider Speaks Out on How Corporate PR is Killing Health Care and Deceiving Americans, which received the 2011 Ridenhour Book Prize as an outstanding work of social significance. He is a native of Tennessee.
