Walton Burns

Walton Burns, author of Clue by Clue, is a teacher and materials writer from Connecticut. He fell in love with teaching English in the Peace Corps in Vanuatu. Since then he has taught a diverse range of students from Russian oil executives to Afghani high school students to Chinese video game champions! He's been active in the national TESOL organization and worked as a writer for several publishers. He believes critical thinking activities and puzzles engage students and get them speaking and practicing English, which is the basis for Clue by Clue.
