Sam Tanenhaus

Biographer and American history scholar Sam Tanenhaus has written such books as Old Greenwich Village, Season of Power, Louis Armstrong: Biography of a Musician, and Whittaker Chamers: A Biography. This last book was nominated for the National Book Award in Nonfiction and the Pulitzer Prize in Biography.
