Salla Simukka ’s As Red as Blood trilogy is an international bestseller, having sold more than one million copies worldwide in fifty-two territories and as a Hollywood film. While writing As Red as Blood, Simukka vacationed in Prague for a week. She instantly fell in love with the city and knew it was the perfect backdrop for the second book—it just needed a dangerous twist.
