Robert S. Littlefield, Ph.D., is a Professor of Communication at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Formerly the Founding Director of the Nicholson School of Communication at UCF, as an expert in risk and crisis communication, he has authored or co-authored several books and over 100 scholarly and invited publications and papers. Littlefield's community service as a Fargo (ND) Lion began in 1984, and he has held leadership positions at the club, district, and international levels, including International Director from 2014-2016, and Lions Clubs International Foundation Trustee from 2016-2019. A Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and Second Century Ambassador, Littlefield continues to serve Lions International as an Ambassador of Good Will. He is a member of the Oviedo-Winter Springs (FL) Lions Club.
