Neive Denis

NEIVE DENIS is the pen name of a Queenslander. Although having lived and travelled overseas, she always returned to Australia and now lives in Mackay in Central Queensland. Along the way, she worked in various capacities for extended periods in Queensland's sugar industry and its Public Service sector. Her museums and galleries qualifications equipped her to chair that industry's peak body in her home state for a number of years. A scribbler of stories from an early age, in more recent times she undertook formal creative writing studies to help facilitate the transition from producing educational material as part of her employment to writing creative fiction for enjoyment. A recent sea change now affords her the freedom and time to indulge her passion for writing whatever she likes whenever she likes. Her alter ego holds post-graduate qualifications in social science and applied history.
