MURRAY. PURA

Murray Pura has over twenty-four novels to his credit and, in addition, has published dozens of short stories, novellas and poems along with numerous books of nonfiction. He has worked with Elk Lake Publishing, Harlequin, HarperCollins, Harper One, Baker, Barbour, Zondervan, Harvest House and MillerWords, His fiction has been shortlisted for a number of literary prizes including, most recently, the Selah. Pura has lived in the UK, the Middle East, the USA and Canada. He now makes his home by the Montana border in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. His most recent publications with Elk Lake include the stories "Black Sand" and the award-winning "Lone Star," the romance, The Light at St. Silvan's, and his contributions to the anthologies The Amish Menorah (2020), The Men of Amish Fiction Christmas Collection (2020) and Christmas From the Heart (Christmas 2021).
