MIGNON F. BALLARD is the author of the Miss Dimple mystery series, along with several mysteries featuring angelic sleuth Augusta Goodnight and The War in Sallie's Station, a novel about growing up in rural Georgia during World War II. She lives in her hometown of Calhoun, Georgia.
