Michael Walsh

Michael Walsh is an international; journalist, broadcaster, author and poet. Born into a literary family, his father, Patrick was battlefield associate of American war correspondent Ernest Hemingway. Michael's ex-nun mother, Kathleen, who also mentored his writing skills, was a friend of Dolores Ibarruri, Spain's Civil War revolutionary La Pasionaria. Unsurprisingly, the flames of rebellion flicker through Michael's blood. With 48 years of frontline political action under his belt there are few social reformers better placed to offer advice for a solution to the self-inflicted refugee crisis gripping Western Europe. 'If there is to be revolution," he says; "I pray to God that it is a peaceful revolution of change and that ethnic-European culture and values can be returned and secured for all time.
