Michael Fraley

Michael Fraley began drawing professionally as a newspaper sketch artist for the sports section of the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel in the late 1980's. That led into book illustration for Alpha Books of Carmel, Indiana, more book illustrations for an independent publisher, and his major comic book series, "Arthur: King of Britain," which was published by Caliber Press's Tome imprint in the early 1990's. Michael became a graphic designer and authored a newspaper tech column. Currently, Michael is focusing on marketing his fine art and illustration, and is working on projects associated with "Seekers of Tomorrow," which features characters making new lives for themselves on dying Mars in the distant future. Michael earned his BFA in Fine Arts from Indiana University Purdue University at Fort Wayne, and is a member of the Chicago Society of Artists, and also associated with the Northern Indiana Pastel Society.
