Kayleen Reusser has interviewed hundreds of veterans of all eras beginning with World War II. Her military stories have been published in magazines, newspapers and books, including the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel and America in World War II magazine. Her three books of World War II stories contain dozens of accounts of men and women from around the U.S. who served in the Army, Army Air Corps, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines.Reusser and her husband have participated in a 10-day World War II tour of Europe, including France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg with visits to Normandy, Paris, Nuremberg, Dachau, Reims, and other significant areas. She speaks often on this topic.Reusser has written 16 non-fiction middle-grade children's books on Greek mythology, celebrity biographies, ethnic cookbooks and STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subjects. She is the wife and mother of Air Force airmen.
