Josh Noel is the beer and travel writer for the Chicago Tribune, where he's worked as a journalist since 2005. He has also contributed to the New York Times, This American Life, Stop Smiling magazine and Ira Berkow's Wrigley Field: An Oral and Narrative History of the Home of the Chicago Cubs. He has become one of the nation's most recognizable beer journalists, writing about the subject as both a business and a lifestyle story, and won second place from the North American Guild of Beer Writers in 2013 for "The Best Beer in the World," a story about a Vermont brewery with a cult following. He lives in Chicago.
