Jatin Soni

Jatin Soni is an experienced software developer currently working at Big Automotive Giant. He graduated from the LNM Institute of Information Technology with a degree in Communication and Computer Engineering in 2010. Jatin began his career at Tata Consultancy Services as a System Engineer in December 2010 and progressed to an IT Analyst in June 2014. In this role, he developed Calibration Synthesis and Data Analysis Tools, wrote C# code to simulate ECU code and Matlab models, and created various tools for data analysis and calibration optimization to improve drive quality and torque requests. He was also responsible for offshore tools development, requirements gathering, and product delivery. Jatin has held several positions in the automotive and technology sectors, including roles at Veoneer-Nissin Brake Systems, ZF Group, and Otis Elevator Co. At General Motors, he has spent nearly three years as a Controls Tools Software Development Engineer, where he continues to enhance his expertise in model-based code generation, simulation, and software development for automotive controls. His work involves developing and maintaining tools for MIL/SIL and PIL testing, creating interfaces for vehicle data simulation, and generating production code for Autosar targets using Simulink models and Embedded Coder. Living and working in the Detroit metropolitan area, Jatin is a key contributor to the advancement of automotive software engineering.
