James Windle

James Windle is Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Crininal Justice, University of East London. His main research interests are international drug policy and strategy, and organized crime. He has published on the potential of the International Criminal Court in countering illicit opiate trafficking, the Afghan criminal justice system, and displacement in counter-narcotic interventions. He has travelled widely in Asia and the Middle East and was part of a research team at the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime working on the global amphetamine-type stimulant market.
