Geoff Armstrong is the author of several best-selling sports books, including Spirit of the Red v (Volume 1), The 100 Greatest Cricketers, ESPN's Legends of Cricket, the centenary history of the Sheffield Shield, and (with Peter Thompson) the definitive biography of Phar Lap and the story of Phar Lap's Melbourne Cup. He has worked on books - as editor, co-author or publisher - with many high-profile identities, including Steve Waugh, Wayne Bennett, Anna Meares, Ricky Ponting and Peter Brock. He has worked on Olympic and Commonwealth Games coverage for Channels 7 and 9, SBS-TV's Ashes cricket coverage in 2009 and Channel 7's presentation of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, and was a regular columnist for Australian Golf Digest. He is currently the publisher at Stoke Hill Press.
