Dr Faisal Zia Siddiqui is Associate Professor at AMU, Department of Chemical Engineering. He has more than 23 years of experience in the field of environmental engineering and has worked with prestigious organizations like Sycom, Tetra Tech, Environment Management Division of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII-EMD) and World Bank India office prior to joining the University. He did his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia University and M.Tech. in Energy and Environmental Management from IIT Delhi. He did his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from AMU. He has numerous publications in national and international journals of repute (SCI/Scopus indexed) and has contributed five book chapters. In addition, he has co-authored two books—From Landfill Gas to Energy: technologies and challenges (2012) and Solid and Liquid Waste Management: waste to wealth (2016). He has an extensive research experience in the fields of solid/hazardous waste management, waste-to-energy, water/wastewater treatment, urban air pollution, environmental auditing, environmental impact assessment studies, cleaner production and environmental policy planning.
