Douglas Alver Menville

Douglas Alver Menville was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on August 16, 1935. He is an American author and editor. Menville edited the magazine, Forgotten Fantasy during the years 1970-1971; he also wrote books with R. Reginald including The Spectre Bridegroom and Other Horrors, and Dreamers of Dreams. He wrote non-fiction works on his own, including A Historical and Critical Survey of the Science-Fiction Film, The Work of Ross Rocklynne: An Annotated Bibliography and Guide, and Classics of Fantastic Literature; or, Les Épines Noires: Selected Review Essays.
