David Gann
David Michael Gann CBE is a British business leader, systems engineer, government advisor, and academic. He frequently advises governments, large companies, and start-ups, on innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth, and has published widely in these fields.
In 2010, Gann was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's Birthday Honours for services to engineering.
Gann has a PhD in Industrial Economics, is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Art.
His career has encompassed the study of innovation as an academic and its application in practice as an advisor to governments and as a Board member and Chairman of businesses and government organisations.
