Award-winning author Cary J. Griffith earned a B.A. in English from the University of Iowa and a M.A. in Library Science from the University of Minnesota. During his sophomore year in college, he read Hemingway’s short story “Big Two-Hearted River” and found it seismic. He has been writing at least 1–5 hours a day ever since. Cary is also the author of Gunflint Burning, Lost in the Wild, and Opening Goliath. He lives with his family in a suburb of Minnesota’s Twin Cities.
