The aliens came to Earth in peace…until they didn’t.

Long ago something was lost. Alien races searched for two thousand years. Until humans discovered it, unwittingly alerting other worlds. Setting off a contest between alien races to get to Earth. To claim a technology so powerful it could give the owner control of the galaxy.

The aliens thought Earth an easy target. A backwards world of barely intelligent upright primates.

Never count out the human talent for messing up someone else’s plans.

One way or another, humanity will rise from their lonely world and ascend to the stars. No matter who tries to stop them.
