Sam Colder is a bounty hunter who chases down outlaws throughout the Arizona and New Mexico territories. A former Texas Ranger, now he works alone. He wants to go after the outlaws he thinks need catching.

He meets women who can be as wild as the Indians and the land itself. And some are dangerous as well as delicious. That's part of the life, too -- the only life Sam truly understands anymore.
