About this ebook

Nina had a rough start to life, stealing to survive—and eventually being sold into slavery by her closest friend. But to her surprise, her captor, Prince Azure, ordained that she would live the life of a princess...specifically, that of the recently deceased princess-priestess, Alisha. But despite her changing fortune, Nina won't give up her old life without a fight...and Azure might just be the one to finally match her wits. But how much can she trust Azure? And can she stop the feelings budding in her heart, knowing she must eventually marry another...?

So far this is a pretty good manga, you have an orphan girl who is just kinda thrust into being a princess because for some reason the current princess died somehow? Wonder if they'll ever explain what happened to that but here they just kinda gloss over it.... good art though. But yeah I can see what direction this manga is going to go in very clearly romance drama. In any case I'm interested to read more of it, as it does have an ongoing anime RN at the time of posting this review.

great English translation. Story & plot seem pretty unique. Can't wait for volume 8. (Somewhat SPOILER) Other thoughts: Az, Nina, Anne, Yor, Hikami, & even Sett R so likable. Although, Nina seems to have acquired Stockholm's Syndrome &can't seem to choose between Az &Sett, she tries her best to always do good, always do the right thing, and stay positive. I don't like it when characters have multiple love interests like they like 2 guys &can't choose who to pick, seems selfish to me, stringing them along. I hope thats not the case w/ Nina. She was in love w/ Az first, she left Fortna for Az. Sett was cruel to her at the beginning &even almost killed her. I can see Sett &Nina staying good friends but if this is their story (like Anonymous Noise) and not Nina and Az's story then what are we teaching the next generation? It's OK to fall in love with a person who treats you poorly as long as they are eventually kind to you? If someone hurts you once, they are capable of doing it again.
