A number of the pieces included in the book are based in part or in their entirety on previous writing published in The New York Times, The Single Parent, the Berkeley Fiction Review, and American Way, the in-flight magazine of American Airlines.

About the author

Paul Levine's writing has been published in Hayden's Ferry Review, the Kansas Quarterly, Permafrost, the Berkeley Fiction Review, American Way, the Pacific Coast Journal, Touchstone, The Apalachee Quarterly, The Writers Post Journal, The Single Parent, The New York Times, Newsday, and Parade, among others. He lives in New Rochelle, New York with his wife and son.
