I think this pen pal thing is stupid and a waste of my time. Yet I signed up for it anyway because my best friend begged me to do so.

I’m intentionally rude, blunt, and short as hell when I write my first letter to Ethan. But instead of not writing me back like I’d been wanting, he not only sends me a letter in return, but he includes a picture of himself and says he’s going to enjoy the chase I’m putting up.

I’m not sure what to make of this man, especially when I struggle to be sexually attracted to people if I don’t have an emotional bond with them. But fine. If he wants to play this game, I’ll let him.

Because there’s no way he can make me fall for him through letters, right?

Wrong.

Now, I’m sitting at the airport, waiting to meet him. Will he see the grump he’s gotten tangled up with and run the other way, or will he still want me despite my cold, rough exterior?

Jayden, Cameron and Draven are best of friends and each other support. Jayden get the idea to become pen pals to military members. Draven does so grudgingly, he really wants nothing to do with it. When he writes to Ethan he is rude and the letter is short. What he does not expect is that Ethan is looking forward to the chase the Draven is going to lead him on. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Draven does not want to do the pen pal thing that Jay roped him into, but when writes to Ethan, Ethan stubbornly continues to write back. I enjoyed reading how Draven opened up and let Ethan in, allowing a real and full relationship to form. A quick read with a sweet festive feel.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of short stories. The overall plot is three friends who decide to become penpals and get another set of friends in the forces. Each book covers each couple and all of them are well written and sweet but still with plenty of passion. Loved the epilogue at the end of this one which covers 4 years later giving you a chance to see the future for each couple. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
