After waking up in the hospital, Casey has no memory of the horrific attack that put her there—only terrifying nightmares that might or might not be real. Continued threats against her and those closest to her leave her no choice. She must run, far and fast, until it’s safe for her to return—or until her memories do.

Nearly a year later, she’s still running. When she stops for food and fuel in an idyllic little mountain valley town, she doesn’t expect to stay for more than a few hours. Nor could she have foreseen the circumstances that make it so hard to leave, including a psychic dishwasher who insists Casey is supposed to be there, and the man with gorgeous hazel eyes and a crooked smile who makes her think crazy, impossible things. Like settling down and having a life.
