About this ebook

125 comfort food recipes and family favorites that are simple to prepare and will bring loved ones together, plus fun family stories and photos, from country music star, Food Network star, and #1 best-selling author Trisha Yearwood
Trisha Yearwood's fans know that she can cook up a comforting, delicious meal that will feed a family! Like her earlier bestsellers, Trisha's Kitchen will include new family favorites and easy-to-make comfort foods, with stories about her family and what's really important in life.

The 125 recipes include dishes her beloved mother used to make, plus new recipes like Pasta Pizza Snack Mix and Garth's Teriyaki Bowl. Every recipe tells a story, whether it's her grandma's Million Dollar Cupcakes, or her Camo Cake that she made for her nephew's birthday.

As Trisha says: "I love to cook now more than I ever have, because for me, cooking is about love. It's sharing a meal with family and friends and talking about our lives. It's working out thoughts in my head about what I need to conquer or accomplish while I'm working on a homemade pastry crust. Sometimes the feel of cold butter in my hands working through the flour just makes me see things more clearly."

I preface this review by saying I'm not the best cook in the world! I love GBBO, MasterChef, etc. They are my guilty pleasures but I'm very much a novice in the kitchen but I've been wanting to expand my very basic repertoire and try out some of the dishes see mentioned on US tv shows and in books. Add my love of country music and I thought this would be a twofer! There are lots of great recipes and the photographs are stunning. My only gripe that my level of "easy" falls way below lots of these recipes! Are all Americans Martha Stewarts????? I'd need to practice each one a few times before attempting to give it to the hubby and son! There are over 120 recipes and they are sub-divided into easy to find categories; breakfast, snacks, etc. I did try the PB&J Cookie Bars which turned out okay, if not looking exactly like the picture. That might be due to having to translate weights and measures from USA to UK. I'd probably be stuck finding some of the ingredients here as not everything has a UK counterpart. Well worth a look!

I liked this cookbook. The visuals are attractive and the recipes ample. Some entertaining quips and colorful family and friend photos add a lot of charm and genuineness to this book and that really lets the author's personality show through. This is a really good, all around comfort food cookbook that has a bit of a southern twist to it. There is a wide variety of recipes offered that cover an array of needs. Whether you are looking for meal ideas, snacks or sweet treats, this book has you covered. There are even a few jam, jelly, pickles and preserves recipes. I loved that this book delivered what it promised. These are down home, family type recipes that I know I'll be tempted to try and will more than likely enjoy. So far I have enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie Burgers, which were unique and tasty, the Ricotta Tartlets, which were delicious and The Nashville Hot Chicken Meatball Sliders, which were a huge hit. This is my independent, impartial review.

Normal challenges are not to be disturbed; at all touched, or have own domain entered. It's a master and leader of own life. Breathing is mastered by the toddler year because growing out of the word is the only way to bigger ones behind them. Meditating: yoga, walking and talking the same year provide strength for own schedule of busy people. Combining the words science and religion for 'let there be light" are required for psychiatrist's evaluation result of normal - defends own money well - being. To get normal results from the doctors is the only survival. These is not more from them then normal or not.
