This is book 8 in the Fury of the blood witch series by Theophilius Monroe a very talented writer I have read many of his book series, including this one. The main character is mercy. She is a vampire and she’s back again with her team on another action pack adventure characters draw you into the story and the author draws you into the world of the characters, this is a definite page Turner, and keeps you reading to the very end and wanting more, start with book one and read them in order. Mercy and her friends are out clubbing when their friend and the blind Druid Muggs shows up on the dance floor and tells them something is happening. They go outside and see a red moon. Muggs tells them there are blood moons then there are Blood Moons. He goes on to tell the legends associated with the not normal blood moons. Emperor of evil! Blood moons aren’t unusual but this one has Muggs concerned and, when he is concerned, so is Mercy. Their dance party turns to screams and the city streets run with blood as the power of the blood moon is revealed. Ancient magic. Ancient evil. The past, present, and future are one. I can’t get enough of this series! I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
