I don't usually read modern day romance novels, but this most definitely held my interest. I couldn't put this book down!

This is one of my favorite modern romances ever! I love the characters and the settings - I have never been to Texas, but this book makes me want to go. The progress of the story is a little unusual for a romance as Liberty does not meet Gage until well into the book. I love the character of Hardy and was thrilled to see him as one of the main characters in the next book, Blue Eyed Devil. This is one of Lisa Kleypas' best!

I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ITS SERIES! A young lady raise her sister after the death of her mother. She finds comfort in the boy next door temporarily. But he leaves her to find riches and returns to late. She has fallen in love with the son of a man who has shadowed her and her sister since the death of her mother because he had loved her mother. Very wonderful book. As usual the author has wrote another beautiful well written book.
