This is an awesome book by Skye MacKinnon. It had all the twists, turns, adventure, heartache, and steam all packed into one great story. It's a continuation from the first book so reading the first one is a must. Isla has excepted Torben as her mate and we learn more about Asil. The characters are great and the plot is well developed a must read for any Skye MacKinnon fan. Grab your copy to follow them on their journey. This well-written book 2 in The Claiming Her Bears Book Series is post-apocalyptic reverse harem love story. Prepare for strong alpha males with a trace of vulnerability, an epic quest, Viking beards, very steamy scenes, Scottish landscapes, Celtic mythology and a post-apocalyptic setting with unique and interesting characters. I liked this book and this series. I look forward to others in this series. I love these amazingly well-developed characters and community. This is the second book in this series with one more promised. I didn’t think this one was as good as the first but it was still an interesting story. Isla and Alis become better acquainted and we get to know the men better. There is more action and sex but is missing the lightheartedness of the first book. I was disappointed with her not sharing things about her past but hopefully she can get past that. It is still a good book and I am wanting to read the next installment.
