This is a story of Alessia, Matteo, mafia and duty. These men are stubborn and determined. Alessia has escaped her gilded cage and a marriage to Matteo. All she wants is to live a normal life away from her family and the dictates. Matteo finds her, brings her back and puts her where she is supposed to be; with him. This is an emotional read with suspense, danger and passion.

This is Matteo and Alessia's story. Alessia does not want an arranged marriage. What will she do not to marry Matteo? What will Matteo do to make shur this marriage works out? Is he a monster or is he? How stubborn will Alessia be?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

There was so much I loved about these characters! Alessia was so strong, knew herself, and when confronted, doesn’t back down. Matteo is so determined and loyal, and once he makes up his mind, there is no changing it. These two clash, and that just makes the sparks and chemistry between them all the hotter. It only stands to reason that there will be bumps in their road, but once they work things out, they are so solid <3
